Samadhan Kirana Jk

Located at Shop No 2 on J K Road in Bhopal, our store is part of the Dugesh Vihar neighborhood. It’s a typical kirana shop where we stock all the kitchen basics. We have big bags of rice and wheat flour stacked near the counter, and the shelves are lined with jars of spices, lentils, and different types of tea. The J K Road area has grown quite a bit, so there’s always a lot of movement outside. We open early to catch the people who need milk or bread before they head to work. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space for shelving. You’ll often find us weighing out sugar or packing smaller quantities of pulses into plastic bags. It’s a hands-on job, and your hands usually end up smelling like spices by the end of the shift. We have a small bench outside where some of the older men from Dugesh Vihar sometimes sit and talk for a bit. The shop gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the door wide open and the fan on full blast. It’s just a regular local business where we know what brands of soap or oil our regulars prefer. There’s nothing complicated about it; we just stay busy keeping the stock updated and serving the people who live nearby in the community.
