Ramasis Energy Corporation

We are located on the first floor of Plot No. 5 in Chhatrapati Nagar. It’s right near the Ayodhya Bypass, so there’s always a lot of noise from the trucks going past. Ramasis Energy Corporation is what we call ourselves, though it’s really just a few of us in a couple of rooms. We deal with solar power and helping people set up their own electricity. The office isn't anything special. We’ve got some desks, a few samples of panels leaning against the wall, and a coffee machine that works most of the time. Working near the bypass means it gets dusty, so we are always wiping down the windows. Most of our work happens out at the sites where the equipment actually goes, so the office is mostly for the paperwork and phone calls. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. It’s a practical way to run things. We’ve had some long days trying to figure out technical problems, but that’s the nature of energy work. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if we’re carrying heavy samples up to the first floor. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for people to find us once they get off the main road. It's just a regular business doing what it can. There’s no corporate ladder here, just people doing their jobs until it's time to go home.
