Patidar Kirana

At Patidar Kirana, we focus on providing the basic necessities for the residents of Harshwardhan Nagar. Being in Bhopal, we see a lot of different people every day. Our store isn't anything special to look at, just a regular brick-and-mortar shop with shelves full of groceries. We stock things like different varieties of rice, wheat, and a wide range of spices that people use in their daily cooking. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything organized, especially when new stock arrives and we have to find places for all the new boxes. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to ask for directions or to leave a message for someone else. We don't mind; it's part of being in a community. The work involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy bags around. By the end of the day, our backs usually ache a bit. We don't have a big marketing budget or any of those things. Most of our customers come here because we are close to their homes and they know they can find what they need. We try to keep a good supply of seasonal items too, like extra sugar during the festival months. It’s a straightforward business, and we've been doing it this way for years without much change. It’s just us and our store here in this part of the city. People know where to find us if they need anything.
