New Palak General Store

New Palak General Store is on Pachpedi Road in Krishna Nagar. We’re in Bhopal, near the station at Dwarka Nagar. Being near the station means we see a lot of people passing through. Some are locals who live right here in Krishna Nagar, and others are just traveling. We sell a bit of everything. Biscuits, cold drinks, batteries, and the usual grocery items like dhal and rice. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things quite high. You have to be careful not to knock anything over. I spend most of my day behind the counter. It can be long hours, from early morning until late at night. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure everything is in order. Sometimes we run out of bread because the bakery truck gets stuck in traffic. People understand. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the counter gets covered in notes and change. The location is good because people can stop by on their way home from the station. We’ve been here for a while now, and we know most of the regular faces. If you need a quick recharge for your phone or a packet of chips, we’ve got you covered. It's just a regular shop serving the people of Bhopal. No bells and whistles, just the basics on the shelves. We usually stay open until the last trains have come and gone.
