We've been here at Plot No 16-A in Sector-I for a while now. Most days it's just the sound of welding and metal being moved around. Govindpura is a busy spot, and our workshop fits right in. We handle various engineering jobs, mostly things people need fixed or built from scratch. It’s dusty work, but we like it that way. Sometimes the machines get loud, but that’s just how fabrication goes. People come to us with a drawing or just an idea, and we try to make it work. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the space is taken up by tools and raw materials. It gets hot in the summer under the shed, but we keep moving. If you walk past the Industrial Area, you'll see us. We focus on getting the measurements right because that's what matters in this line of work. There’s always some project halfway done on the floor. We aren't big on talking, we just prefer to get the welding done. It's a straightforward shop where we do what we can with the steel and iron we have. The neighborhood knows us as the guys who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We've seen Govindpura change, but the work stays pretty much the same day to day. We just stay busy with the orders that come in, making sure the welds are strong and the cuts are straight. We usually have the radio playing to drown out the grinder, and we take our tea breaks when the power goes out.
