Being at number 16 in the basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street, which is nice when Bhopal gets hot. We are right in the middle of New Market, so it’s always chaotic and loud outside. Being near the New Market Police Station actually helps people find us when they get lost in the crowds. Planning weddings and events from a basement might sound a bit odd to some, but it’s where we do our best work away from the noise of the main market. The office is usually piled with papers and notes because there is always a lot to keep track of. We don't have any of those sleek, modern furniture sets you see in magazines. Our chairs are a bit old and the desks are crowded, but it feels real. We spend most of our time talking to families and trying to figure out schedules. New Market is the heart of the city, so we get all kinds of people coming through the doors. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a big family comes in all at once. We just pull up more chairs and make it work. It’s just how things go here at Center Point. We’re just regular people trying to help other regular people get their big days sorted without too much trouble.
