We are based here in Bhopal, right in the 462003 area. It is a city we know inside and out, from the quiet parts near the water to the crowded markets. Doing events here means you have to be ready for anything. We spend most of our time on our phones or driving across town to meet people. Our office isn't really where the work happens; it is just where we keep our files and drink too much chai. The real work is out on the ground, making sure things get built on time and that the decorations don't blow away if there is a breeze. It is a bit of a scramble sometimes. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us who know how to get things done. We don't talk much about visions or strategies. We just look at what needs to be done and we do it. Whether it is a small birthday or something bigger, it is the same basic process of checking and double-checking. Bhopal has its own pace, and we try to stick to it. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery being late or the weather changing, and we just have to fix it on the fly. It is a practical, everyday sort of job that keeps us busy throughout the year. We are just local people trying to help out with local functions.
