Batra Stores

Batra Stores is sitting at Shop-3 on Lalwani Press Road in Bhopal. We are right there in Azad Market, which is a pretty well-known spot in the 462001 area. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. It’s mostly general goods and items people need for their daily lives. The road outside can get pretty cramped with bikes and rickshaws, especially during the middle of the day. We’ve been operating from this same building for years. It’s got that old Bhopal feel to it. We don’t have a fancy website or any of that. Most of our customers are people who have been living in the Azad Market area for generations. We recognize their faces and usually know what they’re looking for before they even ask. Sometimes the stock arrives late and things get a bit disorganized, but we sort it out eventually. It’s a basic shop with a lot of history. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just us, some shelves full of goods, and a lot of familiar faces coming through the door. If you’re walking down Lalwani Press Road, you can’t miss us. We’re just a regular part of the market, opening up every morning and closing when the street gets quiet. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
