Our shop is at Shop No.-8 in the RSS Market in Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal. We are very close to the 5 No. Bus Stop, so many people use us as a landmark or a quick stop while waiting for their bus. It’s a typical kirana store where you can find just about anything you need for your kitchen or home. We have sacks of rice and lentils, bottles of oil, and all the small things like matches and spices. The RSS Market is a lively place, and being near the bus stop means we are always seeing new faces along with our regular customers. I’ve been working here for quite a while now, and the routine is always the same. We unload the crates in the morning and arrange the shelves so everything looks decent. It is a lot of heavy lifting and staying on your feet. Sometimes the weather in Bhopal gets really hot, and the shop feels a bit stuffy, but we keep the fan going and stay busy. We don't have any big mission or anything; we just want to make sure that when someone comes in looking for a specific brand of soap or a kilo of sugar, we have it in stock. It’s a local business run by local people. We know the neighborhood well and we like being part of the daily life here in Shivaji Nagar.
