Agrawal Puri Bhandar

Agrawal Puri Bhandar is right in the heart of Chowk Bazaar on Marwari Road. If you know Bhopal, you know how busy the old city gets. We are situated near Sarafa Chowk, which is always packed with people shopping for jewelry or just walking through. The lanes are narrow and there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking. It is a lively place to be. We have been serving here for many years. It is a small shop, mostly standing room or just a few spots to sit. We focus on the puri and other snacks that people like. The morning starts very early for us to get the dough ready and the fire going. You can smell the cooking from down the street. It is a very traditional setup. We don't use any modern gadgets or anything like that. Just the old ways. People come by on their way to work or while they are out shopping with their families. It gets very hot in the summers, especially near the large frying pans. We are used to it by now. The crowd never really stops until we close up for the night. It is hard work but it is what we know. We are just a part of the daily life in Chowk Bazaar.
