Aarti Kirana

Aarti Kirana is a small grocery shop located at 11 No. in the Shahapura area of Bhopal. We have been here for quite a while, serving the families who live in this part of the city. It is a straightforward kirana store, so we focus on the essentials like grains, sugar, tea, and cleaning supplies. We don't have any big marketing plans or a website, we just rely on the people who live nearby. The shop is at 462011, and it’s a place where you can get your daily needs without having to go to a big supermarket. We start the day by cleaning the front area and checking what needs to be ordered from the wholesalers. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy sacks and arranging jars on the high shelves. Sometimes the weather in Bhopal is a bit unpredictable, so we have to move the outdoor displays inside quickly if it starts to rain. We know most of our customers by their first names and often remember what they need before they even ask. It is not a glamorous job, but it is honest work and we like being our own bosses. The shop is usually quiet in the afternoons but picks up again in the evening when people are heading back home from their jobs. We just try to keep the basics in stock so no one in the neighborhood has to go without.
