Mke(P)Ltd. is based out in the village of Charkhi Dadri, which falls under the Bhiwani district in Haryana. Being in a VPO location means things are a lot different than in a big city. We don't have skyscrapers or malls around us. Instead, we have open fields and the local market nearby. The office is a sturdy building that has stood for years. It’s a bit dusty because of the winds that blow across the plains, but we try to keep it tidy. Most of us who work here are local people who live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the roads are blocked by cattle. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just handle our business day by day. There’s a big banyan tree not far from our entrance where people sometimes sit in the shade. Inside, we have a few computers and a printer that occasionally jams when we are in a hurry. We mostly communicate through word of mouth and simple phone calls. It’s a very practical environment. We don't wear suits or ties; usually, it’s just comfortable clothes that can handle the heat. The power supply can be a bit unpredictable, so we’ve learned to work around the schedule of the local grid. It’s a simple life out here in Haryana, and we like the way we do things at our own pace without needing any city polish.
