Uijir Academic Research Foundation

Our foundation is located in Gangapur, over in the Bhilwara district. We are tucked away in R.K. Colony on Raipur Road, specifically in Ward No. 6. It is a quiet neighborhood, which is actually good because we do a lot of research and academic work here. The office is actually part of an older house, so it has a very homey feel to it. You will not find any big neon signs or glass walls around here. It is just a regular wooden door and some windows that look out onto the residential street. We spend most of our time reading, writing, and looking through various sets of data on our computers. It can get a bit quiet sometimes, but we honestly like the peace for our work. We have a small library area with books piled up on almost every shelf we have. Sometimes we get visitors from the local colleges who want to look at our old files or ask for advice. We usually offer them a glass of water or some tea and sit in the small lounge area to talk. The pace of life here is slow and we do not like to rush through our projects. It is a private foundation, but we try to be helpful to anyone who stops by. The stone floors stay cool even when it is very hot outside.
