If you go behind Ambesh Hospital in the Azad Nagar area of Bhilwara, you will find Sant Vidyanand Sr.Secondary School at P-147. It’s a busy little corner of the city. Being so close to a hospital means there’s always people moving around outside, but we try to keep the school environment focused on the students. Bhilwara is a big industrial town, but in Azad Nagar, it feels a bit more like a regular neighborhood. Our school building has been here for years. It’s got several floors and we have to climb a lot of stairs every day. We don’t have an elevator or anything like that. We just walk up and down. The classrooms are simple, with wooden benches and fans that hum all day during the summer. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We’d rather make sure the roof doesn't leak during the monsoon. The staff here are mostly local people who have lived in Bhilwara their whole lives. We know the families who send their children here. Sometimes we have to remind the kids to keep the noise down because of the hospital nearby. It’s just part of being in this location. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or relatives. We just focus on getting the senior secondary students ready for their exams and making sure the younger ones can read and write properly.
