Shri Nath General Store

Shri Nath General Store is tucked into Shop No 3 on Balaji Market Road. We are right near the City Control Room, which makes it easy for people to find us if they are lost in Bhilwara. The shop is not huge, but we pack a lot into the shelves. You will find things like soap, snacks, and stuff for the kitchen piled up in no particular order sometimes. It is the kind of place where the bell on the door rings all day as people pop in for a quick item they forgot to buy elsewhere. Balaji Market Road stays pretty active, so there is always something to see out the front window. The 311001 area is our home, and we know many of the people who walk through the door by their first name. Sometimes the floor gets a little muddy when it rains, and we have to keep a mop handy. We do not have a computerized inventory system or anything high-tech; we just look at the shelves and see what is missing. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the shop, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. People usually stop by on their way home to grab milk or bread. It is just a regular neighborhood store where the counters are a bit scratched and the bags are always ready. We have been at this spot for a good while now and keep things running simply.
