Shree Gopal Minerals

Our place is located in Ashok Nagar, at number 13119. We deal with minerals and stones, so the yard is always a bit dusty and grey. It's not a place where you'd want to wear your nice clothes. Most of our day is spent talking to truck drivers and checking the quality of the loads coming in. It’s heavy work and the machinery we use is old but it still runs. We have a small office that gets covered in fine white dust no matter how much we sweep it. I’ve been working with minerals for a long time, so I can tell what’s good just by looking at it now. We don’t have any fancy corporate offices or anything like that. It’s just a practical site where we get the job done. The sun beats down on the open yard all day, so we drink a lot of water and stay in the shade when we can. Sometimes the grinders break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them with grease all over our hands. It's a straightforward business. We supply to different industries and the orders keep us busy from morning till evening. Ashok Nagar is a good spot for us because the transport is easy from here. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just processing the earth and moving it along. The trucks make a huge amount of noise when they pull into the yard and the ground is always covered in a layer of fine gravel that crunches under your boots. I keep a small notebook in my pocket for the loads.
