At Oswal Mines And Mineral Industries, we spend most of our time dealing with the practical side of the mining business. Our location is at Mandapam Manohar Kunj, which is quite close to the Sitaramji B landmark. If you are coming from the main road, you just head toward the temple area and we are tucked away nearby. It’s a bit quieter over here compared to the big industrial parks, which is nice for getting paperwork done. We have samples of different minerals sitting around the office on various shelves. They aren't for show, really; they are just there because we need to look at them from time to time or show them to a driver. The building itself is an older style, but it stays relatively cool in the heat. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We talk to a lot of site managers and transport people throughout the day. Sometimes the dust from the samples gets on everything, so we try to keep the windows shut when the wind picks up. It’s a straightforward business for us. We focus on the minerals and making sure the logistics side of things doesn't get too messy. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the logs. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve been in this spot for years.
