Shalimar Digital Travels

Our shop is at number 10 in Gopal Ganj, right across from the Bhilwara railway station. We are also near the Habibi Masjid. Because we are so close to the station, the area is always incredibly busy and noisy. You can hear the trains and the station announcements all day long. We deal with digital travel services, which mostly means we help people with online bookings and tickets. Many of our customers are in a hurry because they have a train to catch. The shop is small and we have to keep things moving fast. It’s not a place where people sit and linger. We have a couple of computers and a printer that works most of the time. Sometimes the heat in Gopal Ganj gets to be a bit much, but we keep a small fan going. We aren't some fancy travel lounge. We are just a local spot for people who need help with their journey. We see a lot of different people every day, from students to families. It’s an interesting place to work because you never know who will walk through the door next. We just try to get the tickets printed and the seats confirmed as quickly as possible. It is a very basic, practical business located right in the heart of the station area.
