Bhilwara Goatry Pride Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based over at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra near Agarpura Choraha in Suwana. We focus on goats, which is why the name says goatry. It's a bunch of us farmers who decided to get together to make things a bit easier for everyone involved. Being in Bhilwara, we have a lot of space but sometimes resources are tight. We spend a lot of time at the center talking about feed and how to keep the animals healthy. It’s not a big corporate setup. It's more like a gathering of neighbors who have the same problems and want to find simple ways to fix them. The office at Suwana is where we meet up. It's usually noisy with people coming in and out. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want our goats to be okay and for the farmers to get a fair deal when it's time to sell. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing but we help each other out with it. If you come by the crossroads at Agarpura, you'll find someone who knows where we are. We mostly work outside, not behind desks. It's a lot of walking and checking on the herds. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. That's about it for who we are and what we do here.
