B N Battery & Electronics

We are right here at Bus Stand 70, which is always a busy place with people coming and going. It’s mostly about batteries and small electronics for us. You get used to the sound of the buses idling outside all day long. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we spend time just wiping down the counters. It’s a small shop, but we have what people usually need, like batteries for their vehicles or maybe a new inverter when the power starts acting up in the summer heat. My uncle started this place years ago and not much has changed. We have the same old wooden stools and the back room is full of spare parts we might use one day. We don’t really do fancy displays. If you walk in, you’ll see stacks of battery boxes and wires hanging around. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan stays on high speed all day. We know most of the drivers who stop by for a quick chat or to check their battery water. The counter is made of old wood that's smoothed down from years of people leaning on it. We keep a stack of old newspapers in the corner for wrapping things. It's not the cleanest place, but we know where every nut and bolt is. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door, so we move the stock back. We stay open until the last bus leaves or when it gets too dark to see. It’s just us doing our thing every day without much fuss.
