Our business, Radhe Shyam Cotton Pvt. Ltd., is out on Talgagarda Road in Mahuva. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we have the space we need for the cotton. We deal with raw cotton mostly, so there's a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around throughout the day. The air is always a bit full of lint, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have some big sheds where we keep everything dry and sorted. It’s a local operation, and most of the guys working here live nearby in Mahuva. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. It’s a working warehouse. We spend our days checking the quality of the cotton and getting it ready for the next step. It’s honest, physical work. We don't have a marketing team telling us what to say. We just tell people what we have in stock and what the price is. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains hard and the roads get muddy, but we do our best to keep things moving. We’ve been on Talgagarda Road for a good while, and we’ve seen the town grow up around us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cotton. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a good way to earn a living. We plan to stay right here.
