National Iron Works

National Iron Works is situated right at number 1, near the Shree Dhukhishyam Bapa Circle on Talaja Road. If you know the circle, you can't really miss us. We have been working with iron and metal here for a long time. It’s a dusty job and our hands are usually dirty by the end of the shift. The workshop is open to the air mostly, so we feel the weather, whether it’s raining or the sun is beating down. We don't have a big corporate office or a reception desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. Most of the guys here are local. We know the people who live around Talaja Road and the other shop owners. We aren't interested in being the most modern shop in the area. We use the tools we have, and we know how to use them. Sometimes the machines break down and we spend the morning fixing them instead of working on orders. That’s just part of the day. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just try to make things that last. It’s a loud place when the hammers are going, but it’s a good kind of noise. We take our breaks together near the circle. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just show up, do the metalwork, and head home. That’s how National Iron Works has always been.
