Mithani Gruh Udyog

We are located at Plot No.783 in the Gidc Chitra area. It’s an interesting place to work because Chitra is full of all kinds of small businesses. Our setup is what you’d call a gruh udyog, so it’s got a very local, home-style feel to it even though we are on an industrial plot. We make things by hand mostly, and there is always a lot of activity in our workshop. The air usually smells like whatever we are processing that day. We have a handful of workers who live nearby and walk to work every morning. We don’t have big automated assembly lines. It’s more about people sitting together and getting the work done. The space can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of raw materials, but we make it work. We’ve been here for some time and the neighbors all know what we do. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because someone told them about us. It’s a simple way to run things, but it has worked for us so far. We just try to make things that people want and keep the quality decent. The Gidc can be a bit dusty and the roads aren't always great, but we like it here. It’s our little spot and we are proud of the work we put in.
