Electro Mech Eng.

We've been at 352 in Chitra GIDC for a while now. It's mostly just us working on electrical and mechanical stuff every day. Some days it gets pretty loud with the machines running, but that is how it goes in an industrial area. There is always something that needs fixing or a part that needs adjusting. People usually just drop by or call if they have a motor acting up or need some metal work done. The shop isn't fancy. It is mostly tools, grease, and some old benches where we sit for lunch. We started out small and stayed that way because it works for us. Chitra is a busy place, and there are lots of other workshops around, but we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes the power cuts out or the delivery truck is late, and we just deal with it. It’s not a big corporate office with carpets and AC. It is a workshop where things get made and repaired. We keep the doors open mostly to let the breeze in because it gets hot in the afternoons. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so they know their way around a lathe or a circuit. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Usually, we are just out on the floor getting our hands dirty with whatever project came in that morning. It is hard work, but we are used to it.
