Virani Industries

Virani Industries is based out of Plot 99 and 100 in the GIDC. We are situated right across from Nani Khodiar. Having two plots gives us a bit more room to store things, which is nice when the yard gets crowded. The area is always humming with the sound of trucks and machinery. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s home for us. We’ve spent many years at this location, watching the GIDC grow around us. The building itself is old and has a few cracks in the walls from the vibrations, but it does the job just fine. We don't bother with fancy signs or a polished look. We are just local people doing industrial work. In the mornings, you can see the tea guy making his rounds on his bicycle, and that’s usually when we start our day. Being opposite Nani Khodiar is helpful because everyone knows the landmark. If someone gets lost, we just tell them to look for the temple area and they find us. We deal with the usual problems like dust and the summer heat. There is no air conditioning in the main work area, just some big industrial fans that move the hot air around. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to finish the day's work and get home to our families. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day at plots 99 and 100.
