Vijay Engineering Products

Down here on Sundarapuram Road, things move at a slightly different pace than in the city center. We are located at 10/1-C, right near the Madukkarai Post office. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the post office is, so it makes giving directions a lot easier. Vijay Engineering Products is basically a local setup. We have been working out of this building for years and the walls have seen better days, but they hold up fine. We do a lot of engineering work and the floor is usually covered in some sort of shavings or oil. It’s just the way it is when you’re actually making things. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened the doors. We don't really have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people talking to each other. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, so we usually have the big fans running full blast. It’s a simple life, mostly spent talking to vendors and making sure the machines are running like they should. We don't promise anything crazy, we just do the job that's put in front of us. If you walk past, you’ll likely hear the sound of tools and maybe a radio playing somewhere in the back. That's just us getting through the day's tasks and keeping the shop going.
