Steel Tech Food Machinery

Steel Tech Food Machinery is based at 53, Gidc Narmadangar. This is an industrial zone, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of power tools coming from the nearby units. Our workshop is a big open space with high ceilings and heavy workbenches scattered around. We spend our time working on the machines that help process food, so there is a lot of stainless steel around that catches the light. The floor is usually covered in some shavings or a bit of oil here and there from the assembly work. We wear our work boots and spend most of the day on our feet moving from one project to another. It gets quite warm inside during the afternoons, so we usually have the big doors rolled up all the way. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that; you just walk in and you are right where the action is. Sometimes the blueprints get a bit greasy from being handled by everyone, but that is just part of the process. We have been here at number 53 for a long time and the building has seen a lot of different machines come and go. It is a solid place to work and we just focus on building things that stay together and do their job. It's not a complicated place to be, just a group of us getting through the work day as it comes.
