Shivshakti Nursery

Shivshakti Nursery is out in the Sabaria area. It is a quiet place compared to the busy city life. We have a lot of plants sitting in black plastic bags and clay pots all over the ground. The morning usually starts with watering everything, which takes a long time if it hasn't rained recently. There is almost always some dirt under our fingernails because we are constantly repotting things or moving soil around from one corner to another. We have some fruit trees and a lot of flowering plants that people like to put in their yards. Sabaria is a good spot for this because there is enough space to spread things out and let the plants grow. Sometimes the goats from nearby try to wander in and eat the fresh leaves, so we have to keep a close eye on the gate. It isn't a landscaped park, just a working nursery where we grow stuff to sell. We have some green shade nets up to keep the hot sun from burning the more delicate plants. People drive out here to get a few pots for their porches or some bags of fertilizer. We don’t have a computer, just a simple notebook to write down what we sold during the day. It gets hot in the afternoon, so we usually sit under the big neem tree to rest for a bit. If you want fancy labels and gift wrapping, this probably isn't the place.
