Hemco Products

Hemco Products is located at L-171/5 6 in the GIDC area. It’s two units joined together, which gives us a bit more room than some of our neighbors. We’ve been working out of this space for quite a while now. The concrete floors have some cracks and the windows are a bit dusty, but it’s a good place to get work done. We spend most of our time out on the floor managing the production. It’s a lot of standing and moving around, so we’re usually pretty tired by the time evening rolls around. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us covered in a bit of grease or dust. We prefer it that way, honestly. It shows we’re actually doing something. The neighborhood is full of other small shops like ours, so there’s always someone to borrow a tool from if we’re in a pinch. We don’t put much stock in fancy marketing. Word of mouth has always been enough to keep us busy. We just try to be honest about what we can do and how long it will take. Sometimes things go wrong, but we always try to fix it without making a big fuss. It’s just a simple business run by people who know their trade. We like the routine and the familiar faces that drop by every week. It’s just how things are done here at the unit.
