You can find us at Aangan Apartment on Maktampur Road. We are at Door No-19, right near Pritam Society. The shop is usually dusty because of all the cement bags we move around. We sell things for bathrooms too, like taps and pipes and those sorts of things. It’s a practical business. People from the nearby apartments come in when they are fixing up their kitchens or if a pipe starts leaking. We have piles of tiles stacked up in the corners. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the road for a bit, but the neighbors are usually pretty patient about it. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and start helping whoever walks in. It’s nice being near the society because we get to see the same people quite often. If you need a bag of cement or a new sink, we probably have it sitting somewhere in the back. The work is steady and keeps us busy throughout the day. We just focus on keeping the inventory right and helping people get what they need for their houses without any extra talk or fancy sales pitches.
