Natural Stone Products

Our business, Natural Stone Products, is situated at H. No. 5/231 on the upstairs floor in Kothapeta, Kurnool. It’s a bit unusual having a stone business upstairs, but we’ve made the space work for us. We have lots of samples of different rocks and slabs laid out so people can see the colors and the textures. Kurnool can get incredibly hot, so being upstairs usually means we feel the sun on the roof quite a bit. We spend a lot of time explaining the differences between various stones to people who walk in. It’s a dusty business, no matter how much we try to keep things clean, there’s always a bit of grit on the tables. We handle a lot of heavy material, so moving things up and down the stairs is a workout in itself. The neighborhood of Kothapeta is always active, and we can see the street life from our windows. We are a small team and we do everything from the paperwork to the heavy lifting ourselves. We don't use any fancy sales talk; we just show people what we have in stock and let the stones speak for themselves. It’s a simple, straightforward operation and we like it that way. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know which door to go through to find us. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when it's too hot to move much stone. It's just a regular part of how we run things here.
