If you're looking for Mahaveer Trading Co., we're right in the middle of the Main Market area on Aska Road. Being near the Shri Ram Nagar Junction means there's always something going on outside our door. It’s noisy and dusty, but that’s Berhampur for you. We’ve been here in Ganjam for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Our shop is just a regular trading spot, nothing like the big malls you see popping up. We have stacks of inventory everywhere, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room to move. The guys usually spend the morning unloading stuff that came in overnight. It’s a bit chaotic when the shipments arrive because we have to move everything around to make space. We don't really have a lunch break; we just eat whenever there's a quiet moment between customers. The floor is old concrete, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we don't even notice anymore. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often help each other out when someone is short-handed. It’s a busy life, and the days go by fast when you’re constantly dealing with people coming in from the junction. It's just a normal business where we try to get the work done and go home tired. The evenings are the worst for traffic, so we usually wait a bit after closing before heading home. It's a long day, but we manage.
