Zoom Exim

Zoom Exim is a small operation out of Yemlur Post in Chalgatta. Our place is called Maruthi Nilaya, number 25. It’s not one of those huge glass buildings you see in the tech parks nearby. It’s just a regular building where we handle our export-import business. The area around here is changing fast with new developments, but we’re still tucked away in our corner. Most days are spent on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. It can get pretty dusty with the construction nearby, and the roads aren’t always the best, but we make do. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that; we just handle the jobs as they come in. There’s usually a bit of a mess on the desks with all the paperwork that comes with moving goods across borders. We try to be straightforward with everyone we deal with because that’s the easiest way to avoid mistakes. Sometimes the work is slow and other times we’re staying late to catch someone in another time zone. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the wheels turning. We don't promise anything fancy, just that we'll do the work as best as we can given the situation. It’s a honest living and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We’ve been at this address for a while and have no plans on moving.
