Dhaka Marble And Granites is located at No. 67 Allasandra Gate on Bellary Road in Yelahanka. We’ve been here for a while, right on the main road. It’s easy to find because of all the stone leaning against the walls. We handle mostly marble and granite, like the name says. I usually get here early to open up and check what we have left in the yard. It’s a lot of lifting and moving, so it keeps us fit. We get all kinds of people coming in—some are architects, others are just homeowners looking for a nice piece of stone for their bathroom. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just show you the actual slabs we have. The dust is everywhere, but that’s part of the job. Bellary Road is always busy, so we hear the traffic all day long. We don’t mind it much anymore. We try to keep a good variety of colors in stock, but it depends on what arrives from the mines each week. It’s a straightforward business. We sell you the stone, and you take it away. No complicated stuff. We’re just a bunch of guys working with rocks, really. If you’re passing through Yelahanka, you’ll see us there by the gate with the slabs out front. We’ve been in this same spot for years and haven't seen much reason to change how we do things.
