About Wahab Hotel – Hotels, Motel & Resorts in Bengaluru
Wahab Hotel is over at Mothinagar 57 and 58. We’ve got two units there to handle the crowd because it gets pretty packed during the lunch hour. It’s not a hotel in the sense that you stay the night, it’s a place to eat, which is how we’ve always used the word around here. The kitchen is always loud with the sound of pans hitting the burners and the staff shouting orders back and forth. Mothinagar is a busy patch and we get a lot of workers and people passing through who just want a quick, filling meal without any fuss. We don’t bother with fancy menus or decorations. The tables are basic and the floor gets mopped several times a day because of all the foot traffic. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes by 2 PM, and that’s just how it is. We start prepping the vegetables and meat really early so everything is ready for the first wave of people. There’s always a bit of steam in the air and the smell of spices is pretty strong. We’ve been at 57 and 58 for years, and the building shows its age a bit, but it works for what we need. It’s a loud, busy, and sometimes sweaty place to work, but we like the energy of it. People come in, eat their fill, pay at the counter, and head back to work. That is the whole story of our daily life here.
