You can find Volt Amp Batteries out on the Magadi Machohalli Industrial Area Main Road. Our address is 127. It is quite a bit of a distance from the main city, so it is mostly trucks and industrial vehicles out this way. We have a big warehouse where we store all kinds of batteries, from the small ones for cars to the very large ones used for backup power systems. The place is mostly rows of metal shelving filled with heavy black boxes. It smells a bit like chemicals and old metal inside, which is something you get used to after a few days of working here. We have a large sliding door at the front so the trucks can back right up to the loading dock. It is a busy place in the mornings when the orders are being sent out to different parts of the state. The office is just a small wooden cabin built inside the warehouse where the paperwork gets handled by me and my nephew. We have a couple of dogs that hang around the yard to keep an eye on things at night and they usually sleep under the trucks during the day. The road outside is often under repair, so it can be quite bumpy and dusty during the dry months. We just stay focused on moving the stock and making sure the orders are correct. It is a straightforward business and we do not spend much time on fancy decorations or anything.
