Vijaya Health Centre

You can find us at 591/A in Vidyaranyapura, directly across from the Dwarka conventional hall. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the center of Bangalore, which makes things a bit more relaxed here at Vijaya Health Centre. We have a small sign outside so people don't miss us when they are walking or driving by. The interior is kept very basic. We have a waiting area with some benches and a small cabin where the consultations happen. We usually keep the windows open to let some fresh air in, though we have to close them if it starts raining heavily, which happens a lot. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors who live nearby and need a quick checkup or some basic health advice. We have a small table with a water jug and a few glasses for anyone who is thirsty. The clock on our wall has a bit of a loud tick, which you really notice when the room is empty between visitors. We don't have fancy leather couches or anything like that, just the standard stuff you’d expect in a local clinic. It’s mostly about keeping things clean and being ready when someone knocks on the door. We’ve become a small part of the daily life in this part of Vidyaranyapura, and we see the same faces quite often as they go about their business and stop in to see how they are doing.
