Vijay Granio

Our shop, Vijay Granio, is located at No.86/3 in Harapanahalli, which is in the Jigani Hobli area. It’s a busy part of the region, especially with so many stone businesses around. We’ve got a bit of space here where we keep the granite and manage the daily tasks. The ground is often covered in stone dust, and the sound of cutting or moving slabs is pretty constant. We are not a large corporate entity. It is just a few of us working together to keep the place running. We don’t have any polished sales pitches. Usually, we are just in the yard, wearing our boots and moving things around. The weather in Anekal can be unpredictable, but we work through it. We have a small corner where we keep our tools and a desk for writing out receipts. It is a very hands-on environment. Most of the people who come by are local contractors or people building their own homes nearby. We’ve been at this Harapanahalli address for some time, and we know the rhythms of the street. Some days we have more work than we can handle, and other days we just sit and wait for the next truck. We don't try to sound like something we aren't. We are just a local stone business trying to make things work in Jigani. It’s tough work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
