Vijay Electricals

Vijay Electricals has been sitting here on 2nd Cross in Mc Layout for ages. It’s a small shop, tucked into the 5th Main area of JP Nagar. If you walk in, you’ll see wires hanging from the ceiling and bins full of every kind of screw and nut you can imagine. We don’t have a fancy display window; it’s mostly just boxes stacked up to the roof. Most of the day is spent helping people find that one specific fuse or a lightbulb that doesn’t flicker. It’s a bit messy, but that’s the way we like it. The neighborhood kids sometimes run past the door, and the elderly gentlemen from the colony stop by just to chat for a bit. We know most of our customers by name since they’ve been coming here since they moved into the layout. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan on high and wait for the evening rush when people are coming back from work. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know which wire goes where. Sometimes we run out of change, or a delivery is late, but we manage to get things sorted out. It’s a local spot at number 23, nothing more and nothing less. You just come in, get what you need for your house, and head back out. It's dusty and a bit crowded, but it's where we work.
