Sri Venkateshwara College Of Engineering

We are located right on Nh 7 in Vidyanagar. It’s pretty close to the Yalahanka Air Force Station, so we hear the planes going over quite often during the day. Sri Venkateshwara College Of Engineering is a big place with a lot of ground to cover. We spend our time walking between the different blocks and checking on the facilities. It’s a busy environment with students everywhere. The noise from the highway is always there in the background. We don't have a fancy marketing team writing this; it’s just us who work here every day. We deal with a lot of paperwork, fixing broken benches, and making sure the labs are okay for the next class. The sun gets pretty hot out here in Vidyanagar, so we try to stay in the shade when we can. It’s a lot of work keeping a college running smoothly. We have to make sure the gates are locked at night and all the lights are off. Sometimes we stay late to finish up things that didn't get done during the busy morning hours. It’s a straightforward job. We provide a place for people to study and we try to keep the environment decent. It’s not always perfect, things break and we fix them. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now and we're used to the rhythm of the school year.
