Venkateshwara Stone Crushers

We've been at this spot in Jayanagar 7th Block for a while now. The stone crusher is out here in Upper-Indiranagar, Pune, and people usually find us because we're right near the Banashankari bus stop on the first floor. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise. We handle a lot of stone and gravel stuff every day for local builders. Some days are busier than others depending on who is building what nearby or if the rain stops the work. It’s dusty work but someone has to do it. My family started this business and we just keep it going. We have the machines running most mornings around sunrise. If you're coming by to see us, just look for the sign near the bus stop. It's not a fancy office, just where we do our paperwork and talk to customers about their loads. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out at all hours. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We know the roads around Pune pretty well by now and which ones to avoid during rush hour. Sometimes the traffic is a mess but we manage to get things done. We just focus on getting the stones crushed right and making sure the piles are ready when people show up with their tractors or trucks. It's a simple setup. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people knowing where we are. Dealing with rocks is heavy work, but it's what we do.
