Vasuki Power Systems

Our place is located over at Jayanagar Ist Block Mundhwa 51/22. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. Vasuki Power Systems is mostly filled with heavy gear and tools that stay scattered across the workbenches. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that won't ever come out, no matter how much we scrub. We usually get in early before the sun gets too high because it gets warm inside the workshop. There is a specific hum that the machinery makes when everything is running right. It’s a sound we’ve all gotten used to. Sometimes we have to shout over it to be heard. Most of the day is spent checking parts or looking over diagrams that are pinned to the walls. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone in overalls wiping their hands on a rag. We try to keep things organized, but when we are busy, stuff tends to pile up in the corners. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so there’s always a truck or a van pulling in somewhere nearby. By five or six, we start packing up the tools. It’s a dusty kind of job, but it feels good to use your hands. We just do the work that needs doing here in Mundhwa, keeping things moving along as best as we can.
