Varu Granite Resources Inc.

We are based at Varu Granite Resources Inc. over on C.M.H Road. You have to come up to the fourth floor of the Ashiwini Complex to find us. It’s unit 539. Being up here in Indira Nagar means we see a lot of traffic down below throughout the day. The building is usually pretty busy with people coming and going from different offices. We spend most of our time dealing with heavy granite pieces and the paperwork that comes with it. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of samples lying around on the desks. The elevator can be slow during the lunch hour so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything too heavy. The windows look out over the shops and the trees lining the street. It’s a loud area but you get used to the horns and the buses after a while. Most days involve checking on shipments and making sure everything is where it should be in the storage areas. We keep the place as tidy as we can but dust from the stone always seems to find its way onto the shelves. People stop by looking for specific colors or types of stone for their houses. We just sit here and handle the daily tasks, looking at the city moving outside while we work through the pile of things to do. It isn't fancy but it's where we work. We've been in this building for some time now and we know the other people on the floor pretty well. It's a decent place to be.
