Vardhman Stones

You can find Vardhman Stones right near the Harapannahalli bus stop. Our shop is No-92/4 in the Jigni Hobli area of Anekal Taluk. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the stones out in the open mostly, so they get rained on and sat in the sun all day. It’s a local spot, nothing fancy about the building itself. We have a small office where we keep the ledger and the phone. Most of the time, we’re out in the yard anyway. The traffic near the bus stop can get pretty backed up, so we hear the honking all day long. We have different kinds of stones, some for flooring and some for walls, just piled up. We try to keep it neat, but with stones, it’s always a bit of a mess. The workers are local guys from the village area. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next truck to arrive. Sometimes we have to wait a long time if there’s a delay at the quarry. We don't have a big website or anything, just the sign out front and the word of mouth from people in the neighborhood. It’s a quiet life when the saws aren't running. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the pieces aren't chipped when they go out.
