Vardhman Enterprises

If you have ever walked down the busy stretch of S.P. Road in Thigalerpet, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the shops. Vardhman Enterprises is located right there in A M Lane at number 114, but you have to head up to the first floor to find us. It is not a very big space, and we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling in some corners. The lane outside is always full of people pushing carts and delivery guys moving things back and forth all morning. Inside the office, it is mostly just the sound of the ceiling fan clicking and the phone ringing every now and then. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled over the years. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually keep the windows open, even though the noise from the street comes right in. We don’t have any fancy signs or modern furniture. It is just a simple place where we keep track of our orders and talk to the regular customers who know where the stairs are. Most days are spent looking over the ledger or checking the stock we have left. There is a tea guy who comes around with small glasses twice a day, which is something we always look forward to. It’s a plain, honest way to work in a part of town that never really stops moving.
