United Precision Plastics

United Precision Plastics is based out of Kanakapura Road, right near the pankore naka area at number 183/6. The road is always moving with traffic, especially the big trucks that head out of the city. Our place at 183/6 is a standard industrial unit where we spend our time working with various plastic materials. It can get pretty hot inside when the machines are running, so we keep the doors open as much as we can to let some air in. You can usually hear the hum of the equipment from the street. We aren't a big corporation with a shiny lobby; we are just a group of people making things out of plastic every day. The floors are concrete and there are boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling in some parts of the workshop. We have been in the Kanakapura Road area for a good while, so we know the local shops where we grab our tea and snacks. Working at United Precision Plastics involves a lot of checking measurements and making sure the plastic comes out the way it is supposed to. It is repetitive work, but we find a rhythm to it. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or machine breakdowns, which can be frustrating, but we just fix what we can and keep moving forward. It’s an honest way to spend the day at our 183/6 location. We finish up when the work is done.
