Ramdev Hardware Electricals

We are located in the St. Ignatius Building on Begur Road, right near the Government Hospital. If you reach the hospital, you’ve basically found us. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all sorts of hardware and electrical bits. It’s a bit of a maze in here. If you’re looking for a specific screw or a certain type of wire, I usually know exactly which pile it’s in, even if it looks like a mess to everyone else. We’ve been serving the Begur area for a good while now. People come in with broken taps or burnt-out fuses, and we try to find them a replacement that won’t break the bank. It gets dusty because of all the construction going on around here, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass counters. We don't have a fancy computer system for inventory; we just keep track of things in a big ledger book that stays on the counter. Sometimes the shop gets hot in the afternoon, but we have a small fan behind the counter that helps. We aren't experts in everything, but we know enough to help you fix a basic leak or wire up a new light fixture. It’s just a regular hardware store for the local folks. We open early and stay until the evening most days of the week, helping anyone who walks in. It is just honest work and we like being part of the community.
