U K Stone

U K Stone is located at 411 HSR Layout. We deal with all sorts of stone materials for building and renovation. HSR is a pretty modern part of town, so there is always some construction or remodeling going on nearby. Our yard is where we keep the slabs and blocks. It’s a heavy business. Moving these stones takes effort and the right equipment, so things can get a bit loud when we are loading a truck. We aren't a fancy design studio. When you come to see us, you’ll see the raw materials laid out so you can see the natural patterns and colors for yourself. We have some dust around, which is unavoidable when you work with stone all day. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and we’ve seen the houses around us go up one by one. Usually, people come in with a specific measurement or a rough idea of what they want for their counters or floors. We don't push anyone to buy the most expensive thing. We just show what we have in stock and tell you how it wears over time. It’s a straightforward trade. We deal with the weight and the logistics of getting the stone to the site. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired, but it’s satisfying to see the materials eventually becoming part of someone’s home. We just stick to what we know best, which is stones and slabs.
