Our place is at House No. 41 on 2nd Cross Road in Ashwathnagar. It’s near the Sanjaynagar Post office in Bangalore. Tyco Electronics Corp India (P) Ltd is really about the nuts and bolts of the electronics world. We deal with a lot of components and technical parts that most people don't even think about. The office is usually humming with the sound of computers and maybe some testing equipment in the back. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We have shelves filled with boxes and binders full of technical specs. Most of us here have been working with electronics for years, so we’ve seen how things have changed. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or marketing. We just focus on getting the right parts to the right people. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the 2nd Cross Road because it’s a bit narrow, but we manage. The team is quite tight-knit. We usually eat lunch together and talk about anything except work for an hour. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We aren't doing anything flashy, just providing the components that keep other machines running. It’s essential work in its own way, even if it’s just small parts. We like being in Ashwathnagar; it’s got a good community feel to it. It’s a steady environment and we like the routine of it all.
