Shubham Comtech Exports is tucked inside the Naaz Complex on NR Road. If you know the area, it is right opposite the Vijaya Bank, which makes it easy to find for people who haven't been here before. Our space is on the 3rd floor, and the building itself is one of those older Bangalore structures with a lot of character. We deal with exports, so there is always a lot of talk about shipping dates and customs forms lying around on the desks. It isn’t a silent workplace. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long. Sometimes we have to move boxes through the narrow corridors, which is always a bit of a struggle. We have a small team, and we all know each other’s business. Most days are spent on the phone or typing away on some old computers. We do not have fancy decorations or a reception desk that looks like a hotel. It is just shelves, files, and a water cooler that makes a loud noise every time someone uses it. Being near the bank is handy for the constant paperwork we have to handle. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It is a straightforward way of making a living. We don't try to be something we are not; we are just a bunch of people moving goods across borders from a small office.
